Field Berry Sauce

Just a little puddle on the side is all you need to make desserts like Lemon Unicorn Horns, Lemon Dreams, and Lemon Champagne into something special. Magnify the effect with poppy seed sprinkles.

• 2 cups frozen field berry mix
• 2-1/2 cups apple or orange juice
• 3 tbsp flour
• 2 tsp lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 pinch nutmeg
• 1/2 cup sugar

1. Measure berries, sugar, and 2 cups of the (save 1/2 cup) juice into a heavy-bottomed, medium-sized saucepan.
2. Pour remaining juice including lemon, flour, and spices into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
3. Shake contents until well mixed and no lumps appear.
4. Pour jar contents into saucepan.
5. Cook over medium heat until bubbly and thickened.
6. Refrigerate in glass jars until ready to use.
