Chocolate Sauce
Very popular when served dripping overtop of a strawberry stuffed cream puff. Even better oozing down the sides of a banana split cake.
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Whisk water and sugar together in large glass measuring cup or bowl.
- Microwave for 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
- Whisk in margarine.
- Whisk in chocolate chips.
- Whisk in vanilla.
- Continue to whisk until smooth.
- Pour on your choice of dessert.
Chocolate sauce can be kept in a plastic squeeze bottle in the refrigerator for later use. It will keep for several weeks.
