About The Author

Tamara Pasley has been a lifelong resident of Bruce County. She was raised in Southampton, Ontario and since the age of fifteen has dreamed of owning a tearoom. Tamara has had the fortune to visit England and Italy where she experienced architecture, atmosphere and food which further enhanced the dream. After working in the service industry and learning the basics, she established the Ivy Tea Room & Craft Studio in 2001. The tearoom was open for seven and a half years, closing in 2009. Tamara always kept a close watch on her recipes and seldom revealed them. While the tearoom was open, there was an overwhelming number of requests for the tearoom recipes. Many other questions were asked about how the tearoom came to be. Over a period of four years, she has compiled this collection of recipes and stories.

Tamara remains loyal to her customers and blends loose leaf tea under the ITR Creations label. She has also moved into creating rustic wooden boxes, tin crafts and fabric arts which she sells online (https://itrcreations.ca) and at local markets. The original printed version of this book proved very successful with three printings.
